Jacquie Gouveia

An internationally known artist hailing from Taunton, Massachusetts, she currently resides with her husband in the picturesque western part of Mass, surrounded by majestic mountains and valleys. Her childhood spent exploring Cape Cod and playing by ponds and lakes greatly influences her artwork, which she has been creating since a young age. Despite holding a degree in Accounting from Bryant University, she is a self-taught artist who has tirelessly worked to gain recognition in the art world.

In 2016, she was honored to be invited as an Artist member of the Art in Embassies program under the US state department. One of her paintings has been featured in an exhibition in Monrovia, Liberia at the residence of Christine Elder, the US Ambassador to Liberia. Her work has also been showcased in various films, television shows, and commercials. In April 2019, she took the leap to pursue her passion full-time, leaving behind her "day job" to focus on creating art that enriches and brightens people's lives.
